BOKA Services is searching for a Cargo Office Agent for one of our clients in Schiphol. The work is on a 3-shift basis with the opportunity to choose your own rooster. You will be responsible for arranging the transportation of the freight, preparing all necessary documents, such as a description of the cargo: amount, type, weight, and dimensions, and other relevant parties, and ensuring that goods are delivered on time.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing import and export documents
- Communicating the shipment status to customers
- Tracking shipping details, including cargo contents, weight, and transportation time
- Creating shipping documents
- Monitoring shipments to ensure a vendor picks up the cargo or delivers the cargo
- Receiving the truck driver
- Managing and assisting with cargo loading processes
- Tracing lost packages and communicating details with clients
